    Agreed. I just hate it when players of his caliber leave the state, especially when they go to Bama. I don't really recall, did O recruit him hard, or was it a non-starter for LSU?

    I played HS football in the '60s. We wore the old Riddell helmets with the single bar face mask. We were taught to tackle with the shoulders. If you didn't and led with the helmet you were subject to a concussion at best and something more severe worst case.
