    Auburn has reportedly put out feelers for Leach.

    We'll see where this goes.

    I've always wondered how Leach would do if he had a defense that could get someone off the field. I don't understand how Tech can put up that many yards/points and still not win consistantly. If they could just have any defense...

    Well we saw a preview of it this season.

    This was by far their best effort defensively this season. And he nearly put himself in the NC game.

    I really don't want to imagine a western division with Leach, Nutt and Petrino and having to defend those crazy offenses.

    Auburn AD Jay Jacobs trying to sell the story that Tubbs voluntarily resigned.

    Would be great to see what the Auburn members say about this. All one of you that are contributors can maybe post your opinion.

    It's being reported that Tubbs will get a $6 million buyout.

    That doesn't make any sense.

    If indeed he elected to step down, do you not forfeit your buyout?

    Dont underestimate the impact of marriage problems. I think this has a lot to do with Tubby's thought process.

    Tubby is getting the buyout because he is not going to take another job right now. He also agreed to stay on and assist the new coach and help keep recruits in the fold.

    I think it would be foolish to believe all the spin coming from Auburn but there is certainly some truth to parts of it.

    The quotes about saying how he hasn't focused on his wife and kids in 15 years is very telling.
