Tubby has been getting his azz handed to him on the recruiting trail ever since Saban arrived. He had become complacent with Bama being in turmoil for so long Tubby didnt even realize how badly and how quickly Saban was handing him his hat. In spite of what our Aub visitors said, I dont think a decent O-Coordinator would have come to Aub. It was obvious after losing 6 of their last 7 games Tubby only had one more year. Who want to walk into that situation? From Aubs prespective why not make the move now instead of waiting to make it a year from now? Their recruiting this year sucks. Last year was bad too when they were shut out by Bama on virtually every single blue chip they went head to head on. Tubby is also having some personal problems. From what I hear he is likely facing a divorce. His wife has been strangely absent from most Aub functions this year and did not accompany him to any games like she has in the past. There were a lot of reasons for Aub to move on, there were a lot of reasons for Tubby to move on.
