I never totally understood why so many on this forum disliked him. Orgeron having recently been at USC was in a far better position to judge Moffitt’s job performance relative to other trainers at Power 5 schools. If he had fallen behind modern training techniques I have no doubt Orgeron would have cut him loose. Some here think that the fact that LSU was sometimes getting manhandled (particularly on the OL) was due to poor physical training. This viewpoint discounts poor coaching and recruiting of offensive linemen by LSU. Towards the end of this season the DL was playing well and was not getting manhandled. If our problems were training related, they would have showed up there as well. Nether the less, Kelly has ever right to pick his own staff, including the trainer.
Wondering how close he was to being ready to retire. I mean, he's been with LSU for 20+ years right? Under old system hes likely fully vested. Kinda like Ensminger.
Twitter verse has shit for brains . They want the athletic program to continue to be like the fucking post office - you stay there unproductive for 40 years contributing to negligence laziness and incompetence. The injuries have been INEXCUSABLE. Best thing to come out of this transition is Moffit is gone.
Haven't you mentioned Golden Corral before in discussing others who who were/needed to be let go? Maybe he will be a good co-worker for you.
