I agreed with you until the SECCG.

Then I discovered that he just has a subconscious bias toward the underdog.

B/c for that game, he was all over Perrilloux's nuts... So he just has a bias toward the "underdog", which is cool with me, I guess, b/c I tend to do the same when I am announcing a game.

It's weird, b/c you don't plan to do it... It just happens.

I noticed that too...he really is one of the better announcers....though the Dorsey comment got under my skin a little, I understand he was probably just caught up in the moment and it wasnt a crack at LSU.

That was my major concern. I think we're in the BCSCG again. With RP/KW replacing MF/JH, and RJF coming in for GD, gonna be a long summer folks! :)

No, I agree with the prior replies. Danielson is the most annoying announcer since Mike Gottfried, and is ridiculously anti-SEC/LSU. He is a Purdue grad, and gets his jollies over Big Ten teams. I used to like his counterpart, Verne Lundquist, but he has relegated himself to just being the Ed McMahon of sports announcing.

I would like to see LSU end up with two more OLs, a CB, and a RB. McClain, TJ Bryant, Ben Jones, and A.Dean would be dynamite. Oh, and what about DE Brandon Thompson from Thomasville, NC? If we could get DeAndre Brown additionally, it would be a top 3 class, although, I don't really care what the rating is.... as long as we have good players and compete for NCs.:geaux:

Is B Thompson a DT or DE? Probably could be either in college irrespective of what he is listed anyway. It's reported that LSU and Clemson are High Interest for him. Certainly, Clemson is closer proximity to his home, but he is visiting LSU soon. Hopefully, he will go with the Tigers.

Brandon Thompson is an awesome DT. I'd love for him to be in this class but I doubt it will happen. LSU will get one more DLine in this class - probably Lavar Edwards who could play either DE or DT. Also, Cordian Hagans is listed as an OT on Rivals but is a DT.

If it's between LSU and Clemson, I can personally guarantee you he'll go with the Tigers. Even if the Detroit MLB franchise were to somehow enter the picture for him, I STILL guarantee he goes with the Tigers.:hihi:
