Gameday was ragging the job at Texas saying the Head booster didn't want Strong and said so before he even got to his office on the first day. They were saying they set him up to fail and Texas was a mess as far as leadership. Never thought of them as being worse than us.
Herman may indeed be overrated, but we had to make a change and there isn't anyone out there with more potential. Plus we have what we need on the defensive side ciaching. We need someone that knows offense and can develop QBs.
Texas may indeed be a dumpster fire, but after the end of last season no one from LSU should be throwing stones. It's hard to imagine an AD worse than ours and the rest of v the administration has been an embarrassment.
This is what I was talking about when I said there was a lot of infighting. There are so many people involved in the Athletic Department that aren't actually IN the Athletic Department. It's a mess and it isn't going to get any better any time soon.
