Between Meyer being an idiot, and the Mich defense, Speight is bailed out.

 

Good news is Ohio State hasn't scored on offense yet. Great play by 29 on that fake punt.

 

Correct, Alleva failed miserably once again! He is exactly the inept moron i thought he was when he was hired. He got punked by Jimbo two years in a row. I've posted in support of hiring Herman for over a year. I really think he was the better gamble and no matter who was hired it would be a roll of the dice. However Alleva may have fallen into a pretty good coach in O. He's definitely not what you would call a sexy hire, but he may end up being a good hire. I'll support O and hope Alleva is gone sooner than later. If O fails Alleva will not be making the next hire.

 

What I don't understand is why people apparently in the know are running their mouths making LSU's intentions known. I had a feeling that, once it was announced that we were 'honing in' on Herman before Houston's game with Memphis even started, that we probably overplayed our hand. AGAIN.

Now that O is officially the coach, his intention to lure Kiffin away from the gumps is once again public knowledge. I know we all suspected that was going to happen if he got the job, but damn, STFU about it while negotiations are still going on behind the scenes.
