24 - 9 Frogs. I wonder how long Alleva is going to give Herman to make up his mind?

Coach Oeaux has to be the backup. A retread like Gundy or some other retread coach would lead to LSU admin suicide.

Well given the changes to practice O made immediately and the firing of Cameron, I'd have to say there is considerable difference in the two. I believe Miles was an offensive lineman so once again not even close to the same mentality. I can remember back in 2001 when TCU gave a "defensive" guy a chance for 800K a year, now LSU would piss their pants to get him. My bet is Orgeron to succeed and succeed in a hyge way if he gets a chance.

Having a large uptick in offense should mean a lot given the shit show Les miles had in place. When's the last time Les miles had a 300 yd passer. We've set all kinds of records essentially overnight. Ensminger should get credit but O is in charge. You can't just dismiss record setting performances like it happens all the time. Especially against conference opponents. We couldnt produce half that against ooc opponents prior.

I'm not feeding trolls. Coach Os improvement of the team stands on it own merit. The people who shit on that simply don't want him. If he didn't look like Les miles during Bama he likely gets the gig. So he lost one game he shouldn't-Uf. I'd say that's acceptable given the situation having to unlearn 12 yrs of Les miles shit offense. Herman lost 3 he shouldn't have.

Problem is I don't want him. He's part of the current staff. I think we need to clean house on the offensive end or Les miles' stench will infect us until we do. Need a new guy in charge. I didn't feel like this from the beginning. Which is weird bc O performed much better than I ever imagined but I don't want him bc he's too close to the old guard.

I want jimbo or Herman. I'd even take pj Fleck on a flyer if they fall through. I want to go a new direction if we are making a change. O feels like a regifted present from the in-laws and I'd have to apologize to him for cutting him. I'd let him coach the DL and give him a raise however.

    The part most won't like:
"If Orgeron gets the full-time job at LSU, he would try to hire Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin as his offensive coordinator and keep LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, TheAdvocate.com reported."

Since MIles won around 7/10 times if Orgeron wins 8/10 and beats Alabama that is ok with me. At least Orgeron was not in a position to choke a late 4th quarter lead against Alabama as Miles did twice.

the report that said the President of UT wanted to keep Strong and that his chances would go up dramatically to retain the job if they dont get Herman......yeah that possibility is now over.

The way it looks to me right now is coach O will handle any defense that isn't built to stop a power running game. But there won't be any wins against teams that are better than we are and we may occasionally lose to teams we have no business losing to.

I would take that all day, but I would NEVER want Kiffin as HC and neither would LSU fans, he would prove it in time.
