My question is this. Say the Big 12 doesn't expand, or Houston doesn't get the invite. How much can Houston afford to give Herman if it comes down to a bidding war against LSU? And how much is LSU willing to pay to bring Herman to Baton Rouge?

 

Houston can't outbid LSU. Texas, USC and Notre Dame can.
