A casual observation ... I see references to the final AP Poll, I see the same with the Coaches Poll, but none to the CFP poll. I know. They don't publish a "final." Personal view: Doesn't it boil down to the NY6 or the playoffs? That's "today's" top ten finish? If your team isn't there, they likely were not found in the playoff conversation either, right? If you're outside of that bubble you've got a hard time claiming good season. :man_shrugging:

The glimma' twins from 'da bayou, have produced 2 shutout losses. And not scoring points has yielded OC Ensminger nearly a 1 million per year. ($800,000+) 2019 is the 3rd attempt, with O & E helming the Rosy Finch shrimpin' boat. O got LSU booted off Primetime TV for not being competetive with Bama. Matt Canada actually managed a few points (despite O's admitted meddling) his only year as OC, against Bama & was fired for doing so. Back to the old, familiar way. Only real question is which player(s) O will blame this year, along with blaming Refs, etc.: O changin' da culcha at LSU:

OK for example had Bama or Georgia or any team for that matter started last season with a QB who only had a fall practice to learn the playbook, his teammates and the coaches, an OL riddled with injuries and attrition, had an untested WR group and only 1 available scholarship TE you think those teams would have been as good with those issues? Yes coach Fishhead it is sometimes not the coaches you see coach sometimes it's injuries, lack of experience, bad luck and even timing. I will be more judgmental of the entire coaching staff this season but will use common sense in doing so because sometimes it's not always coaches. I gave the staff a pass last year because of the issues I just mentioned, we overachived last year IMO.
We outperformed the silly prognosticators, but that's not overachieving. We beat 10 teams we should've, lost to two we should've beaten, and lost to 1 clearly better team. That's not overachieving.

Those SEC teams we loss to didn't have near the issues we did. Also we lost to A&M not because of bad coaching but because a few questionable calls and A&M is a damm good football team. This is the SEC if you haven't noticed. I will say to you what I say everyone like you who for some strange odd reason think that there are no other good to great coaches with as good or sometimes better talent than we have in this conference . Well I have bulletin for you coach there are. I will play your silly game. We beat Georgia a team with a proven head coach, a team that had a great veteran QB, with better RB's, had a much better OL, 3 deep at TE and talent everywhere else. How did we win that game? Did the players win it because we had much better talent than Georgia or was it coaching? Had hope for you in the beginning but sorry to say you are just part of the flock

That last part... quit saying that, newbie. The bad coaching in the A&M game was the Cole Tracy offense where Os ass puckered up in the red zone and instead of trying for 7, he went for the sure 3 with Tracy. That and continuing to send Giles on the field for punts instead of someone that would do something with the punts like, ya know, return them. And this in the final game of the season.
Another bulletin; it was the final game of the season for AM and at their stadium to boot. You know A&M who also has a good coach and players. Yes A&M the team that almost beat Clemson, do you remember that?
