Niether one nailed it. Kcal thinks we underachieved but if the concenses here was 9-10 which I doubt from what I remember than LSU over achieved or in kcals case as good as he thought we would be so we achieved his goal right?. The average of the ones who thought 6 to 8 wins vs the 9 to10 wins crowd I agree should be averaged out at 8.5. We then went 10-3 that's overachieving. Certainly no one and I mean no one thought we would wind up # 6. WE OVERACHIEVED LAST YEAR.
We lost to Bama. Again. Lost to Merlins, again... Lost to A&M. There is a difference in projections before the 1st game is played and then the expectations after we see the "on the field product". We threw away two games 100%. Threw them away. Also, we still haven't scored on Bama under O. I am here to tell you, all those other games are meaningless at this point.
Really? If we were so bad why did we rank above the Merlins and A&M at the end of the year?. If you judge our team strictly by losing to Bama than for the time being you will constantly be disapointed which seems to be your normal state of mind with LSU's team. Threw away games? We are in the SE freaking C if you haven't noticed. You think Georgia, Florida, A&M and Bama doesn't has great talent and coaches too? Who do you think we are the New England Patriots? Injuries, attrition, refereeing and the bounce of the ball are sometimes the difference in a win or loss in the toughest conference in America. Don't buy your argument at all. We overachieved last year in spite of all the issues we started the season with which most everyone here seems to ignore or consciously forget.
