Well from what I read in this forum at this same time last year I don't remember anyone including me thinking we would be playing in a New Years day bowl game and reach #6 in the nation, DID YOU? Or did you predict we would be playing for the NC?
many on this board predicted 2-3 losses and expressed much doubt to those predicting 6-6 once again, your point is that LSU exceeded the media's expectation and i'm asking how that translates to annual top 10 recruiting. Has LSU underachieved, overachieved, or performed as expected?
Well, IMO, none of us really care about that. We have had one goal and we have fallen short 8 times in a row.... Season basically ends in November. WHY? Recruiting and lack of execution/results.
@kcal @LSUpride123 nails it here. The discussion at this time last year wasn't so much where LSU would end in the poll. It was about the projected win total, over versus under. 4-4 conference was the main theme on the 'taint side, eight wins mentioned a few times, but most were pointing to 9-10 wins. I certainly remember the majority saying over eight. The line was 8.5, right?
