He just might be if JB has time to get the ball to him. Our OL scares the shit out of me.

Oeaux has recruited LB's significantly better than Miles, but to his credit, I think Miles' LBs often outperformed their recruiting grades once they got here.

"...peaked in high school" reeks of hyperbole. And honestly, fish. How much of that opinion is skewed because he was from Baton Rouge?

I know Bama has had better MIKE's in the past than what Moses showed last season. He's not one of the guys on defense that I'm pointing to and saying, "watch him this season." Now, on the other hand, the two outside backers are a different story.

You see edge at linebacker, I'm seeing it as even. The season will spell this out for us eventually.

He hasn't played as well as expected, Terry. The fact that you, as a fairly objective Gump, haven't said he's a future 1st rounder yet, tells me even you know he's overhyped. Pretty much every other Gump I know thinks he's their next 1st rounder LB. He's the worst Mike y'all have had in a minute.

Definitely. Baker, Minter, Riley, Kwon, so many that weren't superstars coming in turned into great players.

Player rankings in recruiting...we can agree they are not 100% when it comes to what we'll see when they are in college.

That said, I did catch a note earlier I found interesting.
Tua, Ruggs, Waddle, Jeudy, and Smith ... all ranked five stars by at least one of the ranking services.

What's even crazier to me is if the line ends up the way I think it will (and they are still shuffling guys around as they do every fall) we could be looking at 10, 5 star kids playing on offense next season. (Adding Harris, Leatherwood, Neal, Dickerson, and Wills to those earlier names. Note four of those on the offensive line and a running back.)

Do you believe LSU's back four can play man against Bama's four wide? That's the comparison, right?

While receivers always have a slight advantage because they know what the play is and DB's have to react to their moves, it will be an epic battle between them and DBU. Even the greatest DB's get burned once in a while.

Our asses get shoved around vs Gumps upfront year after year. That’s not Divine Providence year after year . A lot of that is conditioning stamina and technique.
