Well he is heavier but no drop in speed. And Joseph caught 3 passes in the scrimmage too which would imply his receiving skills have improved. They have mentioned wanting 2 TEs in most sets so they should get some opportunities. Peterson just doesn't look like a TE catching the ball. Coming in as a WR is obvious when he runs routes too. I am glad for him but it also means JJ/Lee are checking down which would imply improved QB play. I hope so.
So, if JLee threw ONE int, who threw the other? Also, who hit TT with the long ones...and who threw the one he caught over PP? opcorn: that was my main ? who threw the long balls???
The longest scoring drive during the scrimmage came during the 2-minute portion of the workout when Jefferson directed the offense on a 4-play, 65-yard drive. The drive was capped when Terrence Toliver made a leaping catch over Patrick Peterson in the endzone for a 37-yard touchdown. yep JJ
Sometimes the answers are right in front of our faces, we just have to open our eyes to see them. From these reports things seem to be clicking better with the offense. Strong run game numbers and solid passing game numbers. Good to hear that the coaches are putting the O in, somewhat real, situations where they are having to execute a 2 mininute drill to come from behind to win games. One of the elements that was missing last season and a contributor to a couple of our loses. Each day gets a little bit closer to finally seeing just how improved this team will be. Each day gets a little bit better with the news coming out of the practices. Hopefully all the efforts put in this spring/summer/fall prove to benefit the team. It is obvious they have a strong desire to prove a lot of people wrong. :LSU231: :geaux: :geauxtige :LSU231:
It's the second time you have said this and it was answered before. Shepard was hurt this week and played sparingly. Are you incapable of seeing the multiple positives in this article?
