I have a serious question. I don't know jack sht about Arkansas. Do these people live in an isolated bubble or something? Do they just not know what is going on in the outside world? I'm guessing yes. Their lack of knowledge outside of their program, coupled with an inflated sense of their own program, shows a stunning amount of ignorance.

You're right. I will gather the troops next week and explain to everyone how Arkansas should not feel confident about ever winning against LSU and should forfeit the game before the season starts. I wouldn't expect anyone from LSU to know what it feels like to always be an underdog. To have "near misses at greatness" throughout the history of the program. This article was written by and to hogfans through red and white goggles.

Next season will be interesting to see how Mett plays. What people forget is that it was Mettenberger that held the starting QB spot over Aaron Murray coming out of Spring practice when both were Freshmen.

Mett got into trouble for playing "grabass" in a bar and was kicked off...the rest, as they say, is history.

Losing a 4-year starting QB and often used 5th-year Sr. QB would be problems for nearly every team....except us.

"The Great QB Debate" has been a circus on our message board(s) for the better part of 3 years and as much as I respect BOTH players for their devotion to the team, school and their play at multiple moments/games both together and individually over the years, I have to say that I'm looking forward to putting that aspect behind us. The players and coaches have handled the QB situation without letting it be a distraction, but I'm sure that those that return for next season will be relieved to not have to field the same questions over and over.
