He has shown that he has the "FIRE" and "PASSION" in his tenure here at LSU. It's just when he chooses to show it. I like the calm, cool demeanor he has on the sidelines personally. It shows that he does not panic when things aren't going right, and just let his players play. We don't see what goes on in the locker room at half time, but I'm sure there's plenty of "FIRE" there, cause more time then not the team comes out the locker room making the correct adjustments.

He doesn't berates his players for a bad play, and just let them play cause come on these are kids who will make mistakes. Let's say he did get on Chad Jones a$$ about fielding the kick inside the 5..would he have had the same presence of mind to put his hands up and deflect the pass on 3 and goal at the 1, or would he remember coach in his ears and want to make a play so bad that he shoots the gap instead?

Everyone will probably agree that football is as much mental as physical if not more..so having a coach trust his players I feel is a huge confidence booster for them...IMO

and just cause you don't see it in the game, doesn't mean its not there.."this is a damn strong football team"

His stoic demeanor is nice to see on the sideline. I'm sure the kids get their chewing in the locker room but not in front of everyone. I like that. Saban was quite the opposite.

I gotta admit, I much preferred Saban's tirades on the sidelines. It always fired me up.

It always conveyed a sense of urgency.

I don't see that at all now.

Oh so you want the coach to fire YOU up haha..

I think for fans to get fired up is always a good thing, but for players I think it hurts more then helps cause it comes and goes, but if your team and coaches is on an even keel, they cut down on mistakes and just play the game rather then worry too much about bad plays that happens before

You don't have to be negative to have passion. Les takes "cool" to a whole new level. Is he coaching a football game or trying to remember if he turned the stove off? From his demeanor, you're guess is as good as mine.

I'm not a hater and appreciate what he has done/does for our program, but some sign of life in a close divisional game would be appreciated!
