    i wore gray new balance 99somethings for about 5 years straight. they are among the maybe 3 other types of shoes acceptable for an adult male that i failed to mention, although i include them as sport-specific running shoes. they are without question the best made running shoes. all-stars are slightly too brooklyn-hipster but are almost acceptable. all other shoes are for gaylords and toolbags.

    crocs of course are for fellas that have given up, george costanza style. might as well break out the weighlifting zubaz or whatever with a fanny pack. crocs are great if you want to hit the couch and the nascar and cheetos and never enjoy the presence of a woman again.

    Brooklyn hipsters wear unlaced high-tops with the tongue hanging down. Low-top black monochromes are where it's at, Daddy-O. Dress Chucks. Mine hover over the ground, just like this.

    hot weather - lsu flip flops. or sandles, usually with heels, many styles and colors, to go with whatever outfit.

    cold weather - nike air zooms, the tailgating shoe of choice. boots or shoes, usually with heels, many styles and colors, to go with whatever outfit. (good knee high boots in both black and brown, with 3.5 inch heels, to go with tweed skirts a must.)

    it doest really stand for that. they were founded by a dude named adi dassler. his brother founded puma. some of the first adidas were made for black american sprinter jesse owens.

    You are correct sir! 992'a are da bomb.

    The NB 922 is a . . . waterproof slip-on! :eek: Leather, so not as silly as plastic shoes but they are faggier than Crocs. Italian gigolos wouldn't wear these shoes.
