The term "Saban's recruits" has been thrown around quite a bit in this thread. Some seem think that Miles' early success was due only to their presence on the team.
But, you see, "Saban's recruits" didn't fully blossom for a full 3 years after his departure. It apparently takes that long for his magic to really impact the players. They steadfastly ignored everything that Miles ever told them, and succeeded on nothing but the special powers instilled in them by nick saban during the recruiting "process".
Did I say that slappy? No I didn't. You are too caught up in it to tell when I'm taking up for the guy. Unbelievable.
In your mind (or at least in your posts) there has never been a game LSU has lost unless it was due to Leslie's screw up and most games we won were in spite of him.
In most cases yes, that is the case. The horse has been beaten enough and it is clear that you don't see it. Maybe its because you are just a casual observer, maybe you are related to him, I don't know I don't care. Those of us that see it have seen it for a while and we know it isn't going to go away, not next season, not ever. It is what it is.
