I don't mind admitting when I am mistaken. Isn't this forum about having discussions? And discussions include, fact, opinion, and personal experience right?
Don't see Jimbo heading back to LSU, having known him for years, he's one I talk about when I say family comes before money and his job. Great guy, great coach. He has Fla St close to being a very stable program. Been a few years since its been that way.
Yes you are right, but I sense a little negativity with you. Not good to live with it. Guess its just me. I've been around LSU in the good times and the bad( we had too many of the bad). I'll remind you, these, no matter how bad you think they are, are the Golden Years at LSU. Not gonna lie, I do enjoy you posts, you do a great job. Slow morning, but you've made it enjoyable. Thanks
A couple of years ago, after every win the media would follow Les and the team over to the student section (or visitor's for an away game) as they stood together arm-in-arm as a team and sang the alma mater. Is this something they still do? I haven't seen it in a while.
Agree that they could use im, but you can't argue with what they did for him. Kept him on IR, paid his salary, and all of his medical bills. That's a class organization right there.
And many say "will", "shall", "when", etc. which are the same things that were said in 2005 & 2008. But their Crystal Balls weren't showing the real future. If Les falters he will be replaced, but he won't be on the whim of some fans. I really think many fans pray that we get worse so that they can finally be right. I pray they're wrong. I believe we should all support the coach unless he proves over a few seasons that he should be let go. But I know that isn't going to be the case.
I've heard it said many many times. "I just hope we do really bad, so we'll know what we have." WTF is that? You would rather lose than win tight games so that your opinion of a coach can be validated? Maybe all those wins indicate that your opinion is un-informed bra... Note "you" and "your" used in general not as a reflection of the quoted poster.
