Thanks oceanlsufan --- Really appreciate your work. Regardless of how well your formula works in predicting any one future game, it sure is a great way to look at and compare teams success/failure throughout the season.

Any inclination to come up with a composite number of your scores for each of the top teams and then rank the teams by that composite score?

Not seeing a Let down against TN after Last year I think the team will be pumped to put the whoop Arse on them for trying to sneak one in Tiger stadium last year....

To many Horses, the tigers crush em early and rest the starters for the Auburn revenge game Next Week... Tigers 42-3:LSU231:

Dooley game plans for revenge and to make a statement. Dooley falls flat on his face.

    48-9, LSU

    2 defensive scores
    4 total turnovers for TN
    -14 yards rushing for TN
Beckham has a 100 yard game

I knew I would find one at least today

For some reason , I do think this Vol team is better than any La Tech team Dooley had , do you remember the last La tech team Dooley coached played against us ?? Now i do know they The Vols are not as good as this LSU team is .But I remember another great LSU team (1959) that waltzed into Knoxville and then crawled back to BR . If this Tiger team goes into the game flatfooted , then Revenge will happen . This Vol team is young , but SEC level players . They are better than any La Tech team Dooley had . He is a good coach , and he will get his team in Knoxvile , . He is a few years away. I will say in 3 years the Vols will be back .I have two bets on this game . The one my heart says too bet ,and the one my mind says too bet (a back up bet) . The last time a La Tech team coached by Dooley played LSU I think I have this right is here Football: LSU escapes La. Tech with 24-16 win - Sports - The Daily Reveille - Louisiana State University

Take all that history and dump it in the garbage, for this game. This Tiger squad is entirely too much for TN this year, and they will bring the same level of intensity they have for each of the prior 6 games. This will not be close.

I don't think history will repeat itself and it will not be a close game. I do hope we see a lot of second string or even third being we play Auburn next. Maybe even Mett playing? I want to destroy Auburn! Bama and Auburn doesn't think it will happen. They think Auburn will beat us. :geaux:

This is the same ole song and dance we heard before WVU, and then Heard before Kentucky, and last week before Florida

If our 6-0 record doesn’t do it for you, this year’s TEAM, is nowhere NEAR last year’s team. Faster, Stronger, better conditioned, better coached, and way more disciplined.

I hope the team doesn't think this Tenn game is the same situation as last week, this is a senior quarterback coming in who wants revenge and has something to prove. Every year you have a game that sneaks up on you, will it be this week.

Sr. QB that lost his job to a freshman, hesitates to make decisions, and is going to be on the receiving end of a lot of hits tomorrow. No running game whatsoever isn't gonna help, nor is the fact that his center will continue to one hop snaps when he isn't snapping over the QBs head.

When you lay your head down to sleep tonight, say a little prayer for Sims...he's gonna need it. Montgomery said so.

You are correct though...this isn't the same as last week. Last week, we played a better team with better players than we play tomorrow.

We had our off game against MSU. We won. After all, everyone was yappin about that being our trap game. It was, and it's over.

Easily and without question. I don't want to pile on but he's probably sleeping with the enemy and doesn't REALLY comprestand this is a category 3 storm heading to Neyland. He will shortly after it makes landfall tomorrow afternoon.
