First of all there is no excuse to hit a weaker person like that...man, woman, boy or girl. Rice deserves what he has received and more. Everyone is condemming Goodell with good reason but forget the NFLPA and D Smith. They have been a the forefront of protecting any action taken on players that is outside of football. They should be condemmed as well.
i think some of it has to do with proof. the DA wouldnt prosecute rice because there wasnt enough evidence and she wouldnt testify. with the video, she doesnt need to testify. and now society cant make themselves feel better just because he wont be prosecuted.
