the fact that LSU fans in general are barred from tidefans is effing pathetic. I was actually gonna make a respectful "great game" post. can they not see how sissy-fied that is?? you lost a football game against a great team and your only real road block to a NC. You should take the bad posters with the good but barring us from the forum altogether?? really poor sportsmanship. Has that ever happened here?? curious. Anyone know the answer?
I have to admit guys. But I am growing "weary" of his jawing and obnoxious behavior. This whole Honey Badger thing has gone to his head. He needs to learn a little humility, and learn that winning is all the talking you need to do. Also he might want to look at the last few games but he hasn't exactly been fantastic. The only attention he got was when he made an ass of himself and cost us 35 yards of field position. Between that and his "Synthetic pot" choices. I am starting to wonder if the negative outweighs the positive. Oh as for TIdefans. That is TIDE-HSV although he is a grown man I have learned that he has the skin of a 12 year old. If you say ANYTHing positive about LSU OR retort to a Bama fan making a negative statement out us or our team you get banned. I really like most of the people there but that TIDE-HSV needs to grow up just a hair and realize its just a game and more importantly its a stupid message board. Again I do not condone any fan making an ass of themselves (We have Many who do that here Tappy being one). But when you just want to retort to some inaccurate info. Boom banned. I am not even posting there anymore. Anytime you do TIDE-HSV bans you. Oh no we rarely ban people, but I understood they have. We find the best way is to just ignore them. Problem solves itself.
In all honesty thats what I was thinking as well. In the replay though the hit wasnt as malicious as it first appeared. It was still uncalled for and plain stupid. Im all for trash talking and hard nosed football. Im a huge TM7 fan but that was just not needed. As for TM7 being called a thug, between that cheap shot and the suspension. He isnt coming off as a good kid. I hope he gets his head back in the game. I love how people here want to trash Kirkpatrick. The kid plays hard just like ours do. He also likes to talk.
I can understand that it looked bad but they are both D-backs. They arent matched up against eachother so no, TM7 wasnt more concerned with beating a guy that plays a position that doesnt allow them to be on the field at the same time, unless you live in some kind of bizzarro world. It was one play on special teams. There are much more violent offenses in EVERY football game. It was dumb. It could have cost us. It needs to be addressed but over all TM7 will be TM7. DK hit his head when he was rolling, NOT because TM7 blew him up or anything. I saw several much harder illegal hits from behind by Bama players during plays. It is what it is. Its football. Stuff happens. You have to remember that those guys out there are moving awfully fast. I am NOT for dirty play. I just dont qute classify what happened as that.
For those taking up for TM think about that play if the tables had been turned and that was TM getting hit by their guy this board would be going nuts about how the guy is dirty,a thug ect.. I have lost a lot of respect for TM over the last month with getting suspended for something stupid (disappointment for Ware,Simon there too)
Tidefans has become completely intolerant of any visitors from any other teams, even respectful ones who have been on the board for a decade. I no longer post there. Never. Friendly banter is encouraged here. We bounce flamers of course, but we do not bash all visitors because a few misbehave. We do not punish guests simply for having some pride in their team.
I couldn't say it any better. The act is getting old and Les needs to tell him to clean up his act on and off the field or suffer the consequences.
The back of his head smacked against the ground when he fell backward. I don't know if it was a dirty play. I, frankly, don't know what Mathieu was trying to do. Mathieu actually seemed quieter than usual yesterday - not talking quite as much or as boisterously. Recall, Maze got right in his face after the opening kickoff, and Mathieu more or less walked away. He wasn't chasing guys all over the field woofing at them, like had did in other games, at least not that I noticed.
It was not a malicious play the guy was just trying to make a play while running wide open, he simply made a bad decision when he should have just let it go, kirkpatrick got hurt when his head snapped back and hit the ground, it could happen on just about any play.
your crazy....if he had went helmet to helmet or late hit or something that would be one thing but he just made a mistake thinking he could get far enough in front of him for it to not be a foul.
