$40 million guaranteed. Such a good fit for both team and player here. Not to mention the HC who saw and respects everything Mathieu is about. This after he tore his ACL late last year.

For those who had the audacity to doubt him (lots), even though hes listed at safety hes played 63% of snaps at cornerback.

Long live the best defensive playmaker Ive ever seen at LSU.

    HB don't give a fk.

Glad he's getting rewarded for the dedication.

The best defensive playmaker in college football history, not just LSU.

yeah well youd have to watch a lot of teams and a lot of games for a lot of years to make that proclamation. I dont think sony vue covers half that.

But yeah ive said the same thing long before most on this guy.

He may not be the best ever but he is the best I've ever seen either live or on TV or in any old films. Deion Sanders was a beast and so was Ronnie Lott but Tyrann has special skills and instincts like I've never seen

Lol, uh no it didn't. And why would it. It's not a penalty when Alabama does it. Was that the national championship or the game in Alabama? If it was the one in Alabama it makes sense why he clotheslined Kirkpatrick. If that's the superdome I guess that was Kirkpatricks revenge. Looks like Tyrann gets the last laugh, he has been a stud and Dre a dud.

Les Miles says letting Tyrann go was the worst thing he has ever done.

Pound for pound, greatest football player of all time. Greatest instinctual defensive back of all time, sure that's a bold statement with Ronnie Lott's and Deion Sanders and Charles Woodson, and guys like that out there, but I've never seen instincts like Tyrann's. Just hope he can get healthy and stay that way. Hate for him to be the next Bob Sanders.
