Hey guys, I'm kinda new here, but I figured I may as well just jump right into things. With Patrick Johnson looking (for the moment, anyway) like a pretty solid Miami commit, I'd imagine TJ Bryant is getting looked at a bit more. The guy has stud, lockdown corner written all over him. I can't afford a subscription to Rivals or anything, so I was just wondering what you guys think the chances are of him ending up in Baton Rouge next fall. Dandy Don (I think) gives it about a 50/50 split. I'd love to have him if Johnson stays with Miami.
I know nothing about the guy you mentioned, but I can tell you Rivals had a story a day or two ago about P. Johnson's dad saying he doesn't really think his son is still a Miami commit.
Oh, thats pretty interesting. I probably should've included a link to his rivals profile or something, I kinda forgot. http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=52730&Sport=1 4* at Rivals, 5* at Scout.
IMO, he is just as good as PJ. There was talk a while back that he committed to us, so he might be a silent committ. Who knows.
I say there's a 75% chance that we get either TJ or Patrick Johnson. No way we get both though. Most recruiting experts say that TJ will not leave Florida (as almost no big recruit from his school has), but some close to the situation are saying that he is different & is strongly considering it.
The guy that runs FlaVaristy.com keeps reiterating that no matter what FSU guys say TJ is very open to going out of state. This guy is close to TJ, too...sounds promising.
http://lsu.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=757178 Quote Rivals.com recruiting analyst Mike Farrell reported that LSU has the edge for T.J. Bryant. Sources indicated to Farrell even though LSU leads, the loss of Bo Pelini has him confused about the Tigers. Bryant will not talk to anybody this week about his college choices. This surprised me...I really thought we were chasing this kid.
Wow, that would be awesome. I know Cparso says he dont think we wouldnt take both Bryant and Johnson but how can we not? These are two possible shut down corners. You can never have enough good corners.
