    Fair points. However his being apathetic, lazy, out of shape, fond of drank, and unwilling (or unable) to learn the offense probably didn't help his chances at success. Every one of those factors he has to own himself 100%. He seems to have cashed his huge check and immediately stop giving a shit.

    They being said , sure it seems he's changed and matured and would probably work harder to be successful it given another opportunity. But if I'm a GM I'm going to take a chance with a homeless guy off the street before a guy who's already demonstrated that he's they type to take $50 million and immediately stop caring because he got paid.

    Jamarcus Russell has an IQ below 50.

    That pretty much did him in.

    The reason why he wasn't even paying attention in meetings or skipping out on them entirely was that he couldn't comprehend anything they were saying.
