if Miles really wanted to end all of the speculation and put an end to it period just say NO or I'm staying at LSU and other major coaches have done it already easily. So untill he says no he deserves what ever questions he gets b/c thats the way the media works.
Even if he says flat out that he won't be the next coach of UM, that won't put it to rest. The comparison between CLM and the doublespeaking Nick Satan is just too easy for the media to make. And they want to keep this story line alive as long as they can. Also, if CLM comes out and says that he won't even listen to anything Michigan has to offer, that's an insult to his alma mater.
Agreed... the only way anyone would believe it is if they held a press conference where he and ol' Skip and the gang sit down, on camera, and sign a contract extension... That's the only way it gets put to rest. In this town, our former coach completely ruined the notion that a CFB coach might actually tell the truth about his intentions.
