I know you two may have been responding to the thread in general...and not my specific post...but all I am complaining about is the ones that don't do their homework...and make false statements based on assumptions. It's painfully obvious that they didn't actually SEE the presser...maybe just a snippet of him talking about Bo and UM...then him being choked up. So they take it out of context and twist it to make it what they THINK it should be.

Fact is, he said "that's history", when talking about UM and Bo. He got choked up when talking about HIS TEAM at LSU...said "I'll not do anything to hurt them". Yet MOST talking heads aren't reporting that at all...quite the opposite.

I am not worried about recruiting, if Miles isn't going I believe he'll be the first one to assure them that LSU is still the place to be.

I don't necessarily disagree with you but it happens to every school, not just LSU. As fans, we all want to hear "good stuff" about our beloved team and it's frustrating to hear anything otherwise. I saw so many posts on this forum over the last year complaining about the lack of media attention and respect and now that you have it, it's not good enough. Know what I mean?

Please, this absolutely perfect post will not sink into most minds. Kirk H. is probably one of the most objective analysts but apparently is also a moron that knows nuttin too.

Point made point taken....SEC country you are right...Gator country I am right...living here I will say there is nothing more that the Gators want then Miles leaving...their chit talk on their boards aren't the majority. They are scared of Miles (as they should be) and want nothing more to do with him ever. I will admit the same we feel about Tebow...

This guy is playing to his crowd...and chit stirring all the way through it.

Agreed 100%. Like somnebody said before I will take this before the past...oh well everybody wants to be LSU...can you blame them???

There are a number of reasons why Miles might decide to take the job at Michigan. I hope he doesn't, but the chance of him going is real. The commentators have to call it as they see it. I hope they are wrong.

I don't think the chances of Miles leaving are all that real at all. I mean, what coach in his right mind takes his eye off of a legitimate MNC run in order to consider another program that is a lot further away in reaching that same goal?

UM isn't going to wait nearly 7 weeks to locate a coach and subsequently have him miss out on much-needed recruiting time. They're going to name a successor much quicker than that, I think.

If LSU had 2 losses , it might be a different story. But with a clear-cut path to the crystal, Miles would be a fool to consider leaving at this juncture ..... and i don't think CLM is anybody's fool. :yelwink2:

Keep in mind, it's these same commentators that are fond of listening to themselves make scientific-wild azzed guesses. Last week it was Tuberville to TAMU, the week before it was Butch Davis to Arkansas ...... LSU is just this week's flavor-of-the-week. In a couple of weeks, it'll be somebody else.
