If I'm gonna bitch about the team's performance when things go wrong, then I need to admit I'm wrong when they turn things around. I really didn't think Daniels had it in him to turn the light bulb on, but it's definitely not a fluke. I didn't think Dembrock could adjust things enough to suit his strengths, but those RPO elements are really doing the trick. LSU may still lose a few to teams we "shouldn't" down the stretch, but this team has definitely started figuring some things out. Hats off to the staff and players.
I predicted a 7-5 season, They sure didn’t look like a 7-5 team last night. We have good coaching, gents…
I'm sure you weren't the only one questioning the team's performance earlier in the year, but it goes to show that turning a program takes time and patience. I've always had faith in CBK because he's won everywhere he's been, even at the highest level of college football. We still have a long way to go, but the job CBK and his assistants have done in such a short period of time is impressive. For the first time in a long time, we look disciplined and focused. Hats off to CBK and his assistants for doing one hell of job, considering the absolute mess he took over!
I’m right there with you. I was underwhelmed by the BK hire at first, but eventually talked my way into it; I came to the conclusion that his success over the years was no fluke, when he hit a wall at ND he changed course and had success. Then the ceiling he hit at ND was caused by ND, not BK. I was upset after the FSU game but still felt like BK was building the foundation brick by brick. After TN my confidence was shaken, but its back now. I would say after TN we weren’t meeting expectations, but now we’re exceeding them, not with the wins, but the way we’re winning. It sure feels like while it may not be the game of the century, this game vs Bama will be a war. It also feels like our trajectory is up and Bama is waning. If BK can pull a win in 2 weeks, no telling our ceiling.
