I pretty much agree with all of this. All of these ridiculous hot takes (a lot of them coming from saints fans) about blowing everything up and getting rid of brees smh. A lot of fans are dumbasses. That’s why you let the shock and anger of a loss just like the jubilation of a win wear off before you start trying to make long-term decisions. We’ve got a good solid young core on defense and our offense will be humming more often than not. If we’re gonna win the Super Bowl it’s going to have to be through stellar defense and more of a ball control horizontal based offense like the Patriots run.
I’m kind of waiting to hear what’s up with Kamara because he was definitely not the same after he came back from the injury.
i'm waiting as well... it would explain a lot if they came out and said he was playing with an injury... we had/have a lot of injuries on the d... as soon as lattimore got hurt they went after whoever p-rob was guarding... i think the most important thing contributing to the loss was sean just called a bad game on o...
We were talking about how they will handle Taysom when its his turn in an earlier thread. Didn't realize, its his turn now. All 3 QBs are entering free agency. Good news is, I think Hill is restricted.
I've sort of been having a feeling Brees might retire, I hope not. But it got me thinking about a what if... Brees retired and Brady ended up a Saint for 1 year....
At this point, if Brees decided to hang it up, I think I would want to see Taysom regardless.I think he may need some time with the ones and become more acquainted with the playbook on a regular basis, but he'd be fun to watch. And no doubt put everything on the field for the Saints.
