    I also root for Navy... well ****, I didn't its not allowed to root for more than one team... I'll have to remember that.
    Actually, the best person to listen to for a critique of your team would be a non-fan, because they will keep their emotions out of it. So, yeah, I guess I'm not qualified to talk about LSU football because I actually am a fan.

    Perhaps you're more equipped for bandwagon hopping. Your "smart fan" theory is a gross misinterpretation of what it means to be a fan.

    not attending lsu games is not out of line for a "good" fan. not following lsu games is out of line.

    I remember Mac & Dietzel and all the rest. Mac was a nice guy and a good coach but NOT a great coach. Les is a lot like Mac. He seems to be a nice guy but like Mac and Max Smart he misses by just that much.
    This is a philosphical question. We need to look to our souls for the answer.
