I think Miles is pissed at all of the negativity he sees on this forum about himself and his damn fine football team. Have a great day.

So I should consider the anonymous internet poster that claims to talk to Coach Miles over any other opinion right? I mean that's what we are all talking about right?

I don't go to palm readers but hey her opinion is just as valid as mine or yours right?

Actually my posts are quite full of base. The guy looks stressed out. I didn't say it was because he's a bad coach. I didn't say it was because he's unhappy. It doesn't take any certain skill to watch other seasons and say he carries himself differently.

I don't know the mans personal intake schedule of fiber. Apparently since you have "talked to him" maybe you can let us know. All that matters is that he does beat UGA this week. I don't recall ever stating anything contrary to that.

I don't believe I ever posted anything remotely close to what you are typing. Even if we win against UGA I still see it the same way. You should stick with facts rather than making up posts that I did not type. Maybe you should become a palm reader.

Things got better after Saban left. Saban's 04 team had serious offensive problems - playing a LB at QB. This team has a first year center, which is a very critical position on an offense. As Hebert grows, the offensive running game will get better.

I glad your not the AD at LSU cause we'd be looking at Mr. String Music (Joe Dean) years again.

I only need to hi-lite one sentence to clearly see where you are coming from: "My posts are quite full of base, the guy LOOKS stressed out" Well thank you for your opinion Dr. Do you mind if I get a second opinion?

Just by some of his mannerisms. His confidence is more coach talk, he doesnt seem to have the bravado IMO. Another thing is the conservative and predictable way the O is playing. Its not the balls out attitude Miles had in '07. There were opportunities I know for sure against Washington that we could and normally would ahve gone for it on 4th.

I already know the excuse of young QB. You have to have confidence in your team. You have to let them play. The early games is when we should have been trying to go deep to sure up that weakness. Not have to wait until the thick of the season to try to get the deep and intermediate passes in sync.

The Hat was alwasy very unconventional, thats what made up for his avg coaching skills. The Big Ten Miles is too conventional, its almost like he is trying to prove the analyst that hey Im a good coach. I can win in a normal sense. Thats not what made Miles. His belief and confidence in his team is what made him.

Once again, Miles had a senior laden team in 07 with big time leaders on the field like Hester, Dorsey, Steltz, Flynn, Chevis Jackson and Zenon, that team didn't need to be coached as much and he probably had alot more trust in that team because of their experience. Is it a bad thing for Miles to have a serious look on his face on the sideline? Because Helton hasn't flipped the ball over his shoulder to Jasper on the fake field goal or gone for it on 4th yet this season, he isn't the same coach? This team and the coaching staff are all still getting used to playing with each other, and its a work in progress.

Not at all because my opinion is just as valid as anyone else who posts here including yours. I was asked a question by another poster and answered it. It appears that you have taken my answers to heart but I think what I posted is tame to what others have posted here.

If you didn't chop quotes up into bits and pieces and cherry pick here and there.. perhaps you would understand what I was trying to say.

I've made it very clear that I respect Miles as a man AND as a coach -- I simply think he's peaked and on the way down now. It happens to everyone. As long as he's the coach of this team (this season) I'll support him. I also think another coach is good for the long-term direction of this program.

Im not at all talking about screaming on the sideline. Ive never said anything about that. Ive said some coaches are screamers, some arent. Miles isnt and its worked.

As for coaching up the team, thats a whole other point. There hasnt been much progress. Everytime one facet makes progress another goes back. So obviously as a whole the team isnt being coached up. Weve yet to put together a full half of solid football.

Hey, I hope Im wrong. I hope LSU can keep on winning like this. Weve see OSU and UF win titles while going through the season never really coming off as an impressive team. Ill gladly eat crow.
