Florida won it all in 2006. NC let down much like us the following year.. although not as bad. What did they do in 2008? Played awesome and won it all -- are we playing even "good" football?

Where did I call for ANY of those things? Can you show me? Prediction: can't and won't. Those should pretty much be the players and coaches goals though.

I guess some people just can't be satisfied with a win during a week that four top ten teams lost, and LSU is just one of the handful of teams in the nation to have a 4-0 record.

do we have the weapons that Florida had in '08?
    where is our Tebow?
    Harvin?
    Spikes?
    Wright?

our guys are good, but Florida '08 had a more talented roster than we do '08.

believe it or not, there are other teams out there with sh!tpots of talent
we will not always have the most talented team in the country.
in fact, in most years, we may not even be the most talented team in the SEC.
or even in the SEC West.

these things happen. football is cyclical.
next year, we'll be in a pretty good spot with most our young talent being juniors and seniors, and Florida will be rebuilding.

doesn't mean we need to start replacing coaches

No, but you haven't given any reason as to having miles out. Maybe you have and I just wasn't paying attention.

Tebow - We don't have one, nobody but UF does.
Harvin - Shepard has shown that he is incredibly explosive
Spikes - Alem is a similar type player.. hard hitting, undisciplined, head hunter.
    Wright - Peterson >> Wright

We've got a cast of allstars. Our receiving core is much better than the 2008 UF crew. We've got better RBs too.

You obviously don't keep up with recruiting.

We lose half our offense next year. I think we'll be fine.. but we're losing Ciron Black, Hitt, Dickson, Charles Scott, Keiland Williams, Trindon, and maybe TT. That's just on offense. I'm hoping we can pull a 2007 type year.. lose all that talent in 2006 but come out firing. One thing is for certain.. our offensive line will improve.

So we're gonna say a guy with what 10 taotal touches is the same as what Harvin was to the '08 gators?
    seriously?

can he be that good? yeah he can, but it is WAY too early to say he IS that good.

Let me know when Alem starts covering RBs and TEs coming out of the backfield and doing it well. Let me know when Alem can read a QBs eyes, pick off a pass, and potentially take it to the house.

Wright playing safety is responsible for a lot more territory than Peterson playing corner.

without an offensive line, it doesn't matter if we have Walter Payton, Bo Jackson ,and Hershel Walker

    nope
don't give a sh!t how many stars some magazine thinks a guy is worth while still in High School

I watch what said guy does in an LSU uniform, and then only casually follow his NFL career (if he has one) afterwards.

yeah, lets fire the coach over that weak spot this year
    good call
