I've been supporting him and I still do -- I just don't like his style.. and I haven't liked it but his results have been difficult to argue with. My reasoning is this: He's a great coach and will do good things other places.. but he's not what LSU needs right now and that's a hardass coach who will bring a hardass attitude to this team. Thank you for the NC Coach Miles.. and I hope you do well this season -- but next season it's time to make a change. Make no mistake.. I have the utmost respect for you and you've only had 1 subpar season thus far.. but our team is complacent, lethargic, and frankly.. it appears they're taking on the attitude of their coach. You're a great man.. but perhaps we simply need someone a little more mean for the time being. :milesmic:
That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. What do you want? 30+ point wins every week? Ed Orgeron was a hard ass, do you want him? He's only won 80% of his games at LSU, gues that's not good enough for you. I suppose if you were a USC fan you would want Carrol gone as well... Mods please delete this foolishness.... :insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane:
The sky is certainly not falling guys. Don't think I'm spouting doom and gloom.. I'm far from it. Our defense played very good tonight.. and Jefferson has arrived. Lafell is insanely good.. and Shepard.. oh-oh-oh my. We're playing complacent football. We're 4-0 and that kicks ass.
An 80% winning percentage is outstanding. 9 wins some regular seasons.. 10 wins other seasons. It's not enough for the current state of this program. But can anyone say they're happy with the way this team has performed thus far? Winning is winning.. even when it's ugly.
There isn't a coach in the nation that I'd rather play for than Les Miles. I'm glad guys like Shep feel the same way I do.
better watch what you wish for...promise you its a lot easier to go down than up when you are where Miles has gotten us thus far.
