I'm with you. I'm not very good at predicting scores. I expect UF to start out with 8 in the box. We've got to be able to throw the ball.
23-17 LSU 5- 35 yards 6- 12 of 19 138 7- 123 yards total yards 300 LSU 240 UF special teams issues: it may be easier to guess how many times we do something right. just kick the damn ball out the ez. tebow will be calling the game tomorrow. at least in my dreams.
I think that is a big question mark right now. We really don't know what Florida's run defense can do because they certainly have not faced a backfield like LSU has, which is clearly the best that any team will face this year.
I think part of the reason Tennessee had so much success on the ground was due to the fact that they had to account for Dobbs scrambling and making plays with his legs. I think we may see some designed runs for Harris or a few bootlegs with the run option. Plus Harris is at his best when he is moving to his right. Should be interesting, completely agree about the line though, LSU is not a team you want to get into trench warfare with when they have the ball. If they push Florida around, watch out. I think the key for UF is do whatever they can to jump out to a big lead, but even then LSU is like no other team I've seen. Their big play capability comes on the ground. Coincidentally I think LSU has to score at least 25 to win this game mainly because the defense has been giving up an average of around 22 per contest. The most is 24 the least is 19. Maybe I'm overthinking it though. This team usually tends to bring it against better opponents.
oh i was supposed to predict the gumpfaggies game. hard to think these teams are drastically different when Bama lead 455-51 total yards at the half last year and won 59-0. but what the hell. wr Christian kirk is gonna light up the bama d and also their special teams with a punt or kick return. maybe theres a speedy noil sighting at some point. 30-27 uofjimjones over thedeliverance.
you got 31, still way too high a number, unless you are expecting easy points off turnovers, special teams, etc
Given the fact that a much less talented defense in SC (who was determined to do one thing and one thing only against us) stifled LF7 on 19 carries for 71 yards outside that 87 yard scamper, this will indeed be a true test of our O-line tomorrow night. If I'm UF, I stack the box and see if #6 can do it again. If their gameplan strays from that, their DC is a damnded fool.
Green Florida quarterback. I hope for turnovers leading to scores. We have not had good field position all year.
