Wow, less than half of the season ticket holders bought tickets. It's understandable. During football season, we all must pack a lot of other activities into away game weekends and open dates. One of the two groups of friends that I normally tailgate with can't make this game. Four home games in a row was more than they could handle with other commitments. And the season ticket holders may not have bought all their normal tickets. No guest tickets for guests that aren't certain. Another hot 90-degree afternoon game and they may not bring Granny and the kids, either. Hopefully they can sell 30,000 more today.
I just looked and there are some GREAT seats left. I think I'm gonna buy cheap seats and hope they funnel everyone down. 106 west side is still available.
Any left in the Stadium Club? For $100 it might be worth it to sit where the fat cats sit for once. $25 of that price is for food and drink. I would hope the food there is better than the Tiger dogs the riff raff have to eat.
It's a good chance to get great seats, for sure. But that is a good point about having to cram commitments into the available weekends, especially with that monster Florida game coming up next week..
Well now, its a good thing that spoiled ass feline doesn't like to attend the games. Beings this is an "away" game, we could roll his precious ass out there even if he did load up.
I heard yesterday that if you buy tickets online there is a $1.50 fee but if you buy them at the stadium ticket window there is a $20 fee. I wonder how much walkup traffic there will be. I wouldn't think there would be the usual number of fans who have to travel any farther than Lafayette or New Orleans.
One of my neighbors is not going. He has 40 yardline seats but was pissed that they would not guarantee him his seats, so he ain't going.
