I really don't think it matter much who is the OC as long as Miles is here. Until Miles allows a more diverse gameplan and changes his QB philosophy things won't change. Miles needs to use the philosophy to best fit his QB. Run the spread option if you want to play Harris.

Don't worry, I'm not. I don't expect a thing to change the next few years. I'm over Miles.

I know, I don't either. I was responding to the comment about Cam's contract being up in MAR. Wouldn't it be a great offseason if we got Aranda, and got rid of Peveto?

He was only making $500K at Wisconsin. Don't know what Miles is paying him but surely he can afford a lot more cheese.

Who made that decision? Miles or 'BDP?

I would think BDP has got Miles convinced on the topic, because we never did it before under other coord's.

I would imagine he is getting somewhere around what Steele was getting. Fox sports quoted an anonymous source saying he would be one of the highest paid DCs in the nation, which would be about Steele money.

We kicked long a couple times in the bowl with great success. Kicked it short many with horrible results.

I get the kick it high and short theory. If your kick coverage unit is stellar and doesn't make mental mistakes, stays in their lanes and can tackle, then this should work in theory. Unfortunately LSU isn't disciplined, they make mental errors, and can't tackle. Anyone who has watched them can easily discern this. But for some reason we have the keep running it until you get it right mentality. Especially when your kickers have a tendency to kick it out of bounds. It makes zero sense.
