It has been awhile, but didn't some of the Nebraska triple option QB's from 70's and so, not even get drafted. They were pretty good, but just no place in NFL for them. Admittedly, they were not TEBOW, but they were pretty high profile, in their own right. hwr
His best shot is to try and mimic Dallas Clark. Sure they call him a TE. but he is really just a big ass slot receiver. Whoever has him can certainly use him as their wildcat QB, but he will never make it as a QB in the NFL.
i bet my friend that tebow will have less than thirty passing touchdowns (only as a qb, not as a wildcat whatever) in his nfl career. will i win this bet?
Quarterback XYZ from Texas Tech who breaks the NCAA TD/yardage record every year. Same with any Hawaii QB. Tim Tebow really isn't all that great as a college QB. He is very efficient and runs for a lot of short yardage TD's. Jake Locker or any other mobile QB could do the same if the OC called plays for them to score that many TD's. Not to knock on him though because he is a winner and a leader.
Check out Tommy Frazier. he was a Heisman runner up. Finished with a 33-3 career record. His team lost the 93 title bc his kicker missed a FG, and won the 94-95 National Titles w/ Nebraska. One missed kick from being a 3 time national champion and a Heisman runner up w/ 3 career losses I'd say is pretty good compared to Tebow's 8-5 record in 07
I wouldn't mind having Tebow on the Saints as an H-back/Tight end/Fullback. Dude seems like a playmaker and we have a QB that could get him the ball and an OC that can make plays for him
