Anybody who saw him throwing the ball around the field tonight vs Bama got all the proof they needed to see that this kid can't even come close to sniffing a starting job as NFL QB. He is a project at FB or TE or whatever position a team will have him projected. I say he will be a complete failure as an NFL player.
I see him as an average TE at best, provided he can hang onto the ball after NFL hits. If not, then he's a complete bust. Somehow I can envision him as the Raiders first pick. :hihi:
In 07 and 08 I felt Tebow had potential in the NFL but this year that all changed. When Percy got drafted, UF's deep passing plays went out the door and they just became an option running team. Now I do wish Tebow well but I don't feel he's going to work out in the NFL.
there is no position on the field for tebow in the NFL. if he gets drafted, iw ill guess it will be for FB, but i dont see it happening.
You gotta admit it is a rare thing for a player to pretty much own college ball yet most probably be a nobody in the pros. Tebow would be the one of the greatest college players to fail in the NFL. Just think, mad game where their is no dough but no big payout going up for Teardrop Tim.
He's bright, coachable, a hard worker and will not have high expectations that normally come with a high draft pick. I think he has potential should he find the right team. Matt Jones he is not...
I don't know, I've seen former college QB's playing all over the field in pro football. I'm not saying anyone is wrong here. He has time to learn and bulk up, I don't see him playing Qb at the next level. I believe there was a Qb from Nebraska who played safety in the NFL. Just a thought.... He could turn out to be a bust. There have been some good college Qbs also that have never made it in the NFL Todd Maranovich and Ryan Leif come to mind.
