Yeah that's true but still, he hit his receivers in stride and threw well. Won't have so much time to set his feet against us.

Oh believe me, I know all about the kid. I use to live in Jacksonville. He broke all kinds of Florida passing records. The kid is a stud for sure. :yelwink2:

Yea, I kind of got tired of explaining to everybody that Tebow could throw, but none of them believed me. Almost every LSU fan I know (personally, not on the net) was convinced that Tebow ran so often because his passing was a liability. Not that passing fow 300 against Western Kentucky means anything, but the kid clearly has the tools necessary to get the job done if he is developed right. Isn't it funny how so many people forgot how much they wanted him to come to LSU in an attempt to justify us being better off without him.

With that said Jarrett Lee is certainly no slouch and will be just as good or better. I really like the fact we have the talent and depth available to us so that we can develop him at our own pace and will not be forced to use him before he is ready :helmet::geauxtige:helmet:

I've never had nothing but respect for the guy. He is an awsome athlete! I see him winning another NC for Florida, probably next year. Hopefully he will go pro after that.

Hello, my name is devil's advocate.

Guys, did you actually watch the game? Literally, his receivers were 5-10 yards behind the...er...defenders. He has a very slow release that, if not corrected quickly, will result in a phenomenon known as "getting yo azz knocked OUT". I wouldn't give him the Heisman just yet...anybody with any sense knew he could throw...but he didn't impress me all that much yesterday.

Tebow is going to find SEC defenses to be a leeetle more difficult to throw against. Same thing with Bama. Their opponent was a division I-AA team that finished with 2 wins last year.

That's what I was thinking. He had all day to throw to wide open recievers. Anyone scholarship QB at this level can make those throws. I'm yet to see him make throws on the run, with the pocket collapsing, or into tight coverage. I'm not saying that he can't do it, I just haven't seen it.

I have a feeling that he'll leave BTR a little less arrogant than he is now.;)
