By the way, did anyone else notice how goofy the three amigos looked on the far right of the stage last night: Chris Weinke, Eric Crouch, and Jason White all looked a bit nerdy up there.

Congrats to Tebow. He had a great year. I would have voted for D-Mac since that's been the history for the Heisman voting. It will be interesting how Tebow does next year with carrying the Heisman title and UF probably being ranked #1 to open the season. Can't wait for our game at UF. RP will bring it strong next year. Lot's motivation for us to upset them next year on their home field.

Here's a link to a re-evaluation of the Heisman winners since 1987. I've always felt the two most screwed candidates were Peyton Manning and Vince Young. I still can't believe Reggie Bush won in a landslide vote. If the vote is after VY's performance in the NC game VY wins the Heisman.

I'll always wonder what would the results have been had Jamarcus Russell had stayed for his last year.

we all know what would have happened...with a deep threat and having Doucet and Byrd as WR's, we would have never lost one game..JaMarcus would have easily been in the running and most likely won beating Florida and Arkansas would have pushed Tebow and McFadden out of the race.

However, McFadden got skrewed over, he deserved it more.

Leinart won and stayed for his senior year. Things happen, other players step up. No way to know. VY didn't stay for his senior year either. Not likely Troy Smith would have beaten him.

Solid arguments could probably be made but there's a reason post season games are not fair to consider.

As for most screwed? Try OJ when he lost out to Gary Beban. Beban has since been voted the most undeserving winner in Heisman history.

Yeah, and he cost himself an estimated $20million by doing so. I wonder how much he can get for that trophy?:hihi:
