truly happy they got away from the O-fer. marcus was hot going 8-13 from 3. GT had a nice game with 8 boards, 7 assts and 1 t.o. randolph put up a nice 21. and i know its a road win, but im a bit more concerned about the ability to collect more Ws. was expecting chris johnson and quentin thornton to make a huge difference. itll take some time for johnson to get back in the flow, but quentin has had several games now and throws up a goose-egg in 20 minutes---0 rebounds for the sole true post player. its actually difficult to be in the paint for half the game and not get a rebound. i didnt see the game, but i have to guess he's not active. even with the beefy 6-8 post-player there, the tigers weakness is post D and rebounding. cmon cjb, do some of that magic and win 8 in a row!
Wow how clutch has Marcus Thornton been for us all year? This guy is truly amazing, so physical and for once we have a legit 3 point threat. Him and Randolph have a great future ahead of them.
It's a miracle. My boss grew up in the same neighborhood as Marcus Thornton and said that he has always known that he could ball.
Good win, hopefully they can carry that momentum to the BAMA game and sweep their Alabama roadtrip...That's something that would make me happy...As bad as the team has been playing and beat BAMA and Auburn, I'll take that.
Glad to see they got another "W". Losing is hard on everyone from the players, the coaching staff, and on down to the fans. When you're losing, everyone is working extra hard to find solutions. "Is our chemistry bad?" "Are we not getting enough production out of a few key players?" "What can we do to correct our deficiancies?" Losing only adds more stress and more questions. This team needed a win, and I am glad they finally broke through. :crystal::champs::crystal::champs::crystal:
