Yeah, I was watching, but last time I posted when LSU was winning/playing well, I jinxed them so I waited until the game was over.
I know it's only one game but it sure feels good. It has to be even better for the coaches and players. Losing streaks are hard for anybody but 18-22 year old kids probably have a harder time than adults. Congrats! Enjoy the feeling enough to do it again! :geauxtige
I just saw the final score at the bottom of the screen on ESPN. It was nice seeing our team highlighted in gold as the winner! I was getting tired of seeing them listed in white.
BooYah! Awesome win. on the road. against a more "talented" and experienced team. 84 points. The interesting thing is that the Tigers STILL didn't shoot that well, but their defense (MSU turnovers) and hitting free throws, developed some offensive consistency. Great win, Tigers. They are maturing before our very eyes, folks. Get back on the bandwagon! :milesmic::bball:
I think the glaring difference in this game is the confidence the team showed and the lack of pressure the Miss St defense put on the LSU offense. I don't think they pressed the entire game. That was one of our demons we deal with as other teams pressed hard.
