If you ask me the transfer portal can be helpful if you dont have too many It free;s up scholarships in most cases where the people in front of them are better and we can get fresh blood coming in for a full class to meet needs of that class. Lose excess running back and add oline help in next class etc.
All I am saying is after focusing on him don't know who could do better. You can only look so good trying to block SEC DE's and Deculus is doing as good as anyone. Just my view
Todd Harris is back. https://www.theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/sports/lsu/article_933eb08a-56dc-11eb-994c-a7aeaab38c2a.html
This for MC and lsu-i-like. Was up at 4am this morning and since I don't watch politics much anymore watched our NC game against Clemson. Watched Deculus only again. He got beat once that I could see. Yes once against Clemson. After seeing the whole game I think Deculus is not only our best tackle but one of the best in the SEC. Done talking about Deculus might discuss him during the 2021 season. One last question; O cleaned house after the 2020 season yet kept Cregg so why did he keep him? Certainly there are tons of OL coaches available to hire so why keep Cregg?
I've already acknowledged that Deculus played very well down the stretch of '19. You're totally obsessed; do I need to watch my back when I go home tonight?
I like having all the returnees. Harris like the other returning players are known commodities. We know their weaknesses and limitations and have time to develop the new guys on their own individual learning curves. If one is good enough to take over a starting spot, then we know we have an upgrade over last season.
