Hell, $10 1970 dollars would be like finding $100 now. A pretty good find for even us old guys opcorn::grin:
I think I bought a crapload of candy with it. Like, the biggest bag of peanut M&Ms you could buy. :hihi:
My apologies for forgetting former Tigers Duane DeArmond, who passed this past February 21st, and Rick Huckabay, who passed in March 2006. They both left us too soon, both victims of cancer. I knew both of them, they were both really great guys. My little brother played alongside DeArmond @ good ol' RHS for coach Huckabay, they made the AAA State finals in '76. Duane was the center and my brother was a PF. Tigers forever, they will be missed. :bball:

I believe it was 30 year's ago today that Bo Rein's plane went missing after a recruiting trip here in Shreveport. My friend Liffort Hobley was one of the last people to see Rein alive. I also had the pleasure of visiting with John Ferguson for a couple of hours before an LSU baseball game and not long before he passed away. As a kid I grew up listening to his "golden voice" on the radio and acting out his descriptions of what the Tigers were doing while in my #47 Hokie Gajan jersey and my little football. My dad still goes and kisses my mom every time the Tigers score. Awesome memories.
How many times did announcers screw up the name Hokie Gajan.......I think to those in LA. the name is like Bob Smith in the other 49 states.:geaux:
