Quentin Thornton suffered a concussion against Kentucky. Chris Johnson was sick Saturday, and didn't seem even remotely like himself the past two games. Bo Spencer has injured his shoulder, sprained his ankle, and sprained his wrist through the season. Marcus Thornton has hit the ground HARD many many times this season, including tonight. He also seemed to hurt his shooting hand tonight, it may have just been a jammed finger. Am I missing anyone else? These guys are beat up. I am afraid of what the SECT may do to them.
everyone plays 16 in the SEC and everyone gets paper cuts along the way. the whole bumps and bruises theory is getting old.
Sprains and concussions are not "bumps and bruises." Temple got a bump/bruise in practice the other day. Do you really think Spencer's wrist had nothing to do with him starting out 0-7 shooting tonight?
It wasn't hurting him when he was kicking Kentucky's butt on Saturday. All I'm saying is at this point, there is not a single player in the SEC who is truly 100%. And if they are, they don't hustle hard enough.
I'm with Clair on this one. LSU is the very last team that can complain about injuries. No excuses. Let's kick Auburn's ass and end on a high note and put this loss way behind us.
