With Oklahoma State and Ohio State losing, will our Tigers move into the Top 10 or will some other team jump them?
Doesn't matter, all we need to do is improve each week. With he negativity surrounding our wins I wouldn't think so.. Either or, i think LSU is a 12ish team if graded on performance.
In a sense I agree with you and although our wins have not been pretty, we still have beat two BCS teams. We all know Vandy is scrappy and UDub seems to be not as bad as they where last year.
While "Top Ten" is usually a category reserved for teams that have distinguished themselves, for the most part the only teams that have played well so far this year are teams that have played lower-tier teams. Graded on a curve, LSU is Top Ten right now, but that's really not saying a whole lot about the Top Ten or LSU. I don't think that any LSU fan is very happy right now even if we do sit at 2-0...
There is alot of negativity in Tiger nation, but be happy we are not Oklahoma State or Oklahoma, those teams lost to lesser opponents. A win is a win, whether it is pretty or not is another thing. We did not get those warm up games like the Alabama's and Florida's got to start the season. Hopefully we can iron out some of our isues next week agains ULL but then again, they beat K-State today, which is another upset. I hear alot of people saying over the past two years our defense is slacking but I can remember our championship year in 07 that our defense did not finish too stellar then either. As long as we are winning, I'm happy. I may get more gray hair watching LSU on Saturday's and the Saints on Sunday's, but I'm happy as long as they win and so far, we are 2-0 and 1-0 in conference play.
maybe poll wise we're top ten but with our play tonight- taking the rain into effect--- we wont win against GA, FL, ALA and prob another sec team-- so we'll be 7-5 and going to the peach bowl again. im absolutely embarassed at how we played against vandy-- unreal. we need to get better and get better quickly
Your not a fan nore do you even understand football. Bama played like crap to a lesser team than vandy.. I thank GOd LSU played UW and vandy and I am happy we found the holes that were exposed. LSU is a good team and will improve each week with out you negative fans.. Give the quality of the two teams and the nature of the weather and atmospher, LSU has done well.. F u haters..

Embarrassed? How can you be embarrassed with LSU beating a team by 2 touchdowns, holding them to 220 yards of offense and 88 yards passing? Not saying it was everything I dreamed of seeing in a Tiger victory but it was the far from embarrassing. While there were areas that could be improved we still absolutely controlled Vanderbilt all game and took care of business.
