I am hoping the Saints give Highsmith, Zenon, Arnold, and Broussard a shot at a free agency contract if these guys go undrafted. Broussard could be a possibility with Deuce injury concerns.
Of all the backs we've had at LSU recently, I thought Alley had the most NFL potential. I think he'd be a great pickup as a UDFA.
Wow, Zinger drafted & Highsmith not... Hester before Doucet? I never would've guessed those two. Best of luck to all those guys.
Zenon signed with the Browns Carnell Stewart signed with the Giants. Patrick Fisher offered a tryout with the Jets. http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/18322974.html?showAll=y&c=y
From most of what I have read. Kansas City seems to be the winner of the draft being able to get Dorsey at 6th and the other players they got. At least Dorsey has Bowe to learn some of the ropes.
Last year they had a HBO show about KC training camp and Bowe was a regular on the show. I saw they are doing another season with them again so we will get a chance to see Dorsey and Bowe at it again.
I thought the Steelers did quite nicely. RB Rashard Mendenhall, WR Limas Sweed, DE Bruce Davis, OT Tony Hills, QB Dennis Dixon, LB Mike Humpal, S Ryan Mundy. Not ALL great but they get bonus points from me for Dixon. I was pleased to see him land somewhere after that injury.
That definitely was a plus to see Dixon go, I had a draft party with some of my friends and one guy who is a big Steelers fan, wasnt that impressed , he wanted a Olineman. However, it was good to see Flynn get drafted as well. Eventually you want all the kids to get a shot, especially those who deserve it.
