The sacks didn’t even phase him, and the one strong hit was brutal. I am an eagles fan and found myself rooting for Joe subconsciously yesterday. He played very well and looked better than Carson Wentz. If they straighten the line play out, that offense will take off.
The big thing that helps is the rules as they are now discourage defenders from taking "kill shots" at QBs. Its more, get there, wrap them up and drag them down these days. But taking 8 of those a game (its really more, because he probably got hit a few times after getting rid of the ball) doesn't exactly extend a QB's shelf life.
