Nope, I was hanging with the Vikings.

I won with the last pick, when the trade was made, I knew it was for a QB. Norv Turner is the OC there and Cam and he are best friends. Would Mett be in the mix? So Bridgewater was the name, after talking between ourselves, he had to be the pick. The 104.5 folks put on a great show.

Enjoyable time was had

So 5 Tigers have gone and 4 of them play O. Bizarro world man.

LSU Football excites me man. Now Les Miles has Cam Cameron and John Chavis to develop the studs that Miles and Frank Wilson do such a great job of hauling in to Baton Rouge. LSU is a sleeper this year dudes and dudettes.

Like I said, a good friend has been scouting for over 20 years, this draft threw him off. Bizarro is a good word to use here.

Getting close to Draft time, I'll start posting a little info as it gets closer.

This is by far the deepest draft I've seen ever. Many first round picks, because of the number of players, will fall into the second round and so on. This looks to be the deepest draft with the WR position ever, too much talent. Other positions that are better than average, QB, RB, DE, CB and Safety.

OBJ is one that can come in from day one an help most teams right away. Return Punts and Kickoffs, knows the NFL route tree. A year in Cams offense can't hurt. Most have the Panthers taking OBJ with the 28th. pick. Don't see him there, gone by then. The Saints pick right before the Panthers with the 27th pick, but once again, I see OBJ gone before the 27th pick. The Saints might have a shot at a LSU WR, Landry in the second round, if hes still around by then. The good WR's will be off the board early. Too many teams looking for help at WR and needing to draft these guys early. Like I said, don't know if Landry will be around at that time. Teams are gonna get a couple good players in OBJ and Landry. Remember, Carolina will need a WR, do they pick one in the first round?

I see Landry being picked not far from OBJ, he too can help teams, he doesn't shy away from going across the middle. Can do too many things well. Could be a gunner of special teams. Look for him to run a good time in LSU's Pro Day.

As for Jeremy Hill.........I have him early second round. I went and E-mailed a Draft Scout I know, he has him in the same spot, early 2nd. Having Cam in your corner helps, like ever offensive player at LSU. NFL teams try and get as much info on every player, the people Cam knows in the NFL, calls have been made. Hill is a North-South runner, good vision, tough to bring down and once hit, gets a few more yards. At around 6'2" 235#'s, great size. Very fluid when he cuts, no wasted motion, Effective receiver out the backfield, soft hands, long arms and good pad level with lots of power. He has sent a letter to every NFL team addressing his off the field issues. He was in a RB rotation at LSU with lots of tread on the tires, a major plus from the LSU Backs. I know this, many teams have him high on their board. There is a good reason, hes a great player in college, shouldn't have a problem in the transition to the Pro's.

I see Ego going before Freak in the draft, Ego had the better year. To me Ego is strong and quick off the ball. Plugs the middle and will get into the backfield, disrupt the play. Moves sideline to sideline, good leverage and uses hands well. Holds his ground well. Could see him as a late 3rd round, early 4th round pick, some have him in the 2nd round. With a run on DT, you never know where a draft will head.

Anthony Johnson, a lot like Ego with speed, at times this pass year, offsides penalties caught him. Has to do a better job playing under control. Good first step with good strength. Once again, a 3-4th round pick, many teams like him, not a deep a DT class.

Both these two, along with the other LSU players, could have a great showing in the LSU Pro Day. These two could be drafted close, the run with DT's will be one position to watch on Draft Day.

Some talk after his 40 time, some teams could look at him in the 3rd round. Not many looked at Turner during the season due to only being a Soph., Red-Shirted his first year at LSU. Once he made to move to come out, many teams were starting to look at film, once his 40 time was made, more teams started to open a book on Trai. He can run block with the best of them, a little work on the pass blocking, you got a player. Kind of a light class at OG this year, this helps.

Next year, gonna have a bunch leave off the OL. Les, Grimes and the staff need to sign a bunch of OL in this next class.

Keep an eye on the OL of LSU in next years draft.
Oh, the second player taken in the first round was coached by Grimes at auburn.

Lamin is 6' 1" 237#'s. good size and speed. Can play inside or outside positions. Can help on Special Teams. Finished up at LSU with 230 Tackles. Led the team in tackles last season and finished behind Minter, 2nd on the team in 2012. A leader on and off the field, he wore the #18, that tells you how hes seen. Tackles well, finds the ball carrier and hits well. Played under Chief and understands the game. Had a solid week at the Sr bowl, remember Kelvin Sheppard had a good week and was drafted by the Bills, in the 3rd round. Teams like the players Chief and LSU turns out. Very athletic player. I could see him inside in a 3-4 or outside on a 4-3, that helps his draft stock a little. I like him in the middle to late 4th round. Don't know if he makes it into the 5th.

Congrats to Barrow with Denver. Made it into the 5th, but not out. Tyke Tolbert former LSU WR is the WR coach up there.
