The Suns signed Stromile late in the season but he wasn't able to help them (and Shaq) get to the playoffs.

I think Tyrus can still get a lot better and should develop into a much better player than Stro ever became.

Big Baby filled his part-time role well over the past couple of years and has stepped up in the playoffs. He seems to play hard and do all of the little things. He's hit some outside shots during the playoffs but needs to shoot a little better percentage. I'm definitely rooting for him to make it. These playoffs may determine if he's viewed as a future starter in the league or as a role player.

Assuming Stro was not signed to a deal that goes beyond this season, I wouldn't mind seeing the Hornets go after him. I think in the right environment, he could do for a team what Chris Andersen does for the Nuggets...provide 5-10 minutes of high energy presence around the rim. In every game of the Hornets/Nuggets series, Andersen was a game-changer when he entered the game. Stro has the same type of physical skills and mind set; he loves to show off his aerials with dunks and blocks and get the crowd into the game. The Hornets have nobody like that coming off the bench, and as a La. boy, he'd be very well recieved from the get-go.

Don't feel bad. I would have wagered a large sum of money that he would never be anything but a 5 pt 3 rb per game guy. I still don't understand how he's so effective. I don't find him to have a lot of athleticism and those types of guys typically don't make it in the pros. Like you said, I'm glad I was wrong.

Buig Baby with the game winner at the buzzer! Celtics tie series 2-2.

He ran straight to Collis Temple Sr. after hitting the shot.

From the Boston Globe: Temple figured prominently

There are some other good quotes in the article and the story of Big Baby's journey is always good to read about :thumb:

Boston was down by 14 with 8 1/2 minutes left in the game, Big Baby scored 8 from 7:18 - 3:57 to help Boston get back into it. He scored 22 for the game, finished the last 8 minutes w/ 10 points going 4/5 from the field, and hit 2 free throws in the final seconds to give Boston a 4 point lead . Boston wins 92-88.

The buzzer beater in game 4, and now after his performance in game 5... Glen Davis really is playing some good basketball @ the right time (its his contract year). My question is do you think Glen will be in Boston next year? Keep in mind Boston is paying A LOT of money to the big 3... Glen is really is making a name for himself, and other teams might offer him a nice contract. One other thing to keep in mind, Boston has to be careful bc Leon Powe is out bc of a torn ACL (who knows how sucessful his return will be) and they (Boston) will have to have either Glen r Leon 100% healthy to back up KG next year... Your thoughts...

Boston is probably gonna do their best to keep him and he probably wants to stay. It'll be interesting to follow though.
